1. 🌺 What is the Vaginal pH Test?

   
   

   Vaginal pH is an indicator of the balance between "good" bacteria (lactobacilli) and pathogenic microorganisms.

   A pH self test allows you to easily measure this value for:

   
   

   Prevent vaginal infections

   Distinguish between bacterial vaginosis, candida, or trichomonas

   Monitor intimate well-being during pregnancy, menopause, or after antibiotic therapy

   🧪 How the Test Works

   
   

   Materials included in the kit:

   Disposable applicator (similar to a tampon)

   Test strip with color scale

   Reference color chart

   Procedure:

   Wash your hands well.

   Gently insert the applicator into the vagina (shallow, 1-2 cm).

   Remove after a few seconds.

   Compare the color of the strip with the scale provided.

   Reading times:

   30 seconds – 1 minute.

   📊 Interpretation of Results

   
   

   pH value Interpretation

   3.8 – 4.5 Normal (acidic, protective environment)

   > 4.5 Imbalance → possible bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas

   < 3.8 Rare, but may indicate hyperacidity or the effect of topical therapies

   💡 An altered pH does not confirm a diagnosis, but suggests the need for a gynecological examination or further testing.

   In the presence of symptoms such as:

   Itching, burning, irritation

   Abnormal discharge (thick, grayish, or foul-smelling)

   During pregnancy

   After antibiotic therapy
