    Description

    Verify® Self Test Ovulation

🧬 What is the Ovulation Test?

It is a urine test that detects the increase in LH (luteinizing hormone), which peaks 24–36 hours before ovulation.
The test therefore indicates the best time to try for a pregnancy.

    🧪 How the Test Works

Collect a urine sample (preferably between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm).
Dip the test strip or urinate directly onto the stick (depending on the format).
    Wait 5 minutes.
    Read the result:
    Lines on the test Interpretation
✅ 2 lines: test = control or more intense LH surge detected → ovulation imminent
✅ 2 lines: clearer test than control Low LH → not yet ovulating
❌ 1 single or incorrect line Invalid test → repeat
    🕐 When to Start Testing

It depends on the length of your menstrual cycle. Example:

    Cycle duration Test start
    26 days Day 10
    28 days Day 11
    30 days Day 13
📌 Day 1 is the first day of your cycle (menstruation).

    📦 Types of Self Tests

    Type Characteristics Advantages
Test strips To be immersed in urine Economical (from €0.50 each)
Stick with handle Direct urine More hygienic
Digital tests Display showing a symbol (e.g. smiley 😊) Easy reading, fewer errors
Fertility monitor Record more data (LH + estrogen) High precision, but expensive

    ✅ Advantages

Detect your most fertile time accurately.
    Easy to use at home.
Also useful for slightly irregular cycles (extended test over several days).
    ⚠️ Limits and Tips

The test does not confirm that ovulation has occurred, only the LH surge.
Avoid drinking too much before the test: diluted urine = false negatives.
    Not suitable for contraceptive use.
If you have PCOS or other hormonal imbalances → your LH levels may be consistently high and make the test unreliable.

    【 REAGENTS 】
The test contains anti-LH particles and anti-LH coated on the membrane.
【 SAMPLE COLLECTION AND PREPARATION 】

    • Determine the optimal time for urine collection. To obtain the best results,

For results, collect urine at approximately the same time each day. Some women have found that their best sample is after 12:00 PM. Don't collect the first urine sample after waking up.

    • Reduce fluid intake approximately 2 hours before collecting urine.

    • Record the date, day of your period, and time of urine collection. See the

TEST RESULTS TABLE at the end of this leaflet.

    • Use a new specimen collection container for each specimen.

    • Urine can be stored at room temperature for up to 8 hours or at 2-8°C for up to 24 hours. Do not freeze. For best results, test urine on the same day it is collected. If refrigerated, allow urine to reach room temperature before testing. Do not shake the container. If sediment forms at the bottom of the collection container, allow it to settle. Use only urine from the top of the container.

      【 PRECAUTIONS 】
Please read all the information in this leaflet carefully before performing the test.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton.
Do not use if case is torn or damaged.
Store in a dry place at 2-30°C or 36-86°F. Do not freeze .
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not open the foil test pouch until you are ready to begin testing .
    •   For in vitro diagnostic use only . Not for internal use.

    •   The used test can be disposed of in normal household waste.

    •  For single use only.

      【 CONSERVATION 】
Store in its original packaging at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30°C). The test is stable until the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use. DO NOT FREEZE . Do not use beyond the expiration date. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or heat.

      【 MATERIALS 】
Materials provided: 1. Test cassette; 2. Package insert; 3. Dropper

Materials required but not provided: 1. Specimen collection containers; 2. Stopwatch
      【 INSTRUCTIONS 】

      WHEN TO START THE TEST
Calculate when to start testing using the table below.
      1) First, determine the
length of your menstrual cycle. The length of your

Your Menstrual Cycle is the number of days from the first day of your period (menstrual bleeding) to the last day before the start of your next period.

      2) Next, determine the number of days to count forward after your period to begin the test. Find your menstrual cycle length on the first line of the chart below and read the corresponding number on the second line. This is the number of days after your period to begin the test.

      3) If your menstrual cycle is shorter than 21 days or longer than 38 days, consult a doctor. If you don't know your cycle length, you can start testing 11 days after the first day of your period, as the average cycle length is 28 days.

      4) See the Sample and Sample Schedule below to determine the day you should start testing. First-morning urine should not be used during the LH test. For best results, you should test at the same time every day. You should reduce your fluid intake approximately two hours before testing. Perform one test per day for a period of time or until you detect an hLH surge.

      When to Start the Test

Example: My usual cycle length is 28 days. My last period started on the 3rd. The "When to Start Testing" chart shows that I will count forward 11 days from the 3rd. When I count forward 11 days on the calendar, I find that I will collect and test my urine starting on the 13th.
○First day of the last menstruation
Start testing with the LH Rapid Ovulation Test

      【 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 】
Determine the day you will start testing using the “When to Start Testing Chart”. 1. Allow the test, urine specimen and/or controls to come to room temperature.

      environment (15-30°C) before testing.
      2.
Bring the case to room temperature before opening. Remove the cassette.

of the test from the sealed pouch and use it within one hour.
      3. Place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface. Hold the dropper.

Hold the test cassette upright and transfer 3 drops of urine into the specimen well(s), then start the timer. Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well. See the illustration below.

      4. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read the result after 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.

      READ THE RESULTS 】

      (Refer to illustrations)

POSITIVE: Two lines are visible and the line in the test region (T) is equal to or darker than the line in the control region (C). This indicates probable ovulation within 24-36 hours.

NEGATIVE: Two lines are visible, but the line in the test region (T) is lighter than the line in the control region (C), or there is no line in the test region (T). This indicates that no LH surge has been detected.
INVALID: No control line appears. Insufficient specimen volume or improper procedural techniques are the most likely causes of a missing control line. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test. If the problem persists, discontinue use of the test kit immediately and contact your local distributor.

      【 QUALITY CONTROL 】
A procedural control is included in the test. The colored line appearing in the control region (C) is considered an internal procedural control, confirming sufficient sample volume, adequate capillary penetration into the membrane, and correct procedural technique.

      【 LIMITATIONS 】
      1. For self-diagnosis for in vitro diagnostic use .

      2. This test cannot be used as a form of birth control.
      3. Do not reuse tests.
      4. Test results should not be affected by painkillers, antibiotics and other

Common medications. Medications containing hCG or LH can affect the test and should not be taken while using the LH Ovulation Rapid Test Cassette (Urine). Additionally, the test will not work properly for women who are pregnant, going through menopause, or taking birth control pills.

      5. Keep out of reach of children.
